Does anyone know what year (or approximately what year) the pickup selector switch on the Series basses was moved from the old location on the lower horn to the current placement? Thank You.

My guess would be '86.

I'm thinking '81 or '82.  I had mine placed there as a special request in '81, and I don't recall seeing any in the old location after that...

There's an '85 in the Showcase section that has the switch in the old position, but it may have been ordered that way.
