Just have a quick question for any knowledgeable Alembian. I'm thinking about a MK Standard, and I just like to know what the difference is between the standard Signature Electronics package, and the optional Anniversary electronics. I'm kinda new to the Alembic scene. Thanx for the help, Mike.....

The Anniversary electronics have a volume/filter/q-switch for each pickup. They also include a switch to run mono or stereo. When in mono a standard TS plug is used. When in stereo a TRS plug is used on the guitar end and is split into two TS plugs at the amplifiers. This allows you to send each pickup to it's own amp.

The Signature  are filter/q-switch for each pickup and a single volume and blend (or balance).

I appreciate your help, Keith. I guess I'll opt for the standard electronics. Just have to decide how I'm gonna come up for the coin to order one, short of selling the Kids!!!
Thanks again for the info.    Mike......

Mike,
No need to sell the kids. Just lease them out. :-)

Keith.
If you know of a good letting company interested in some british kids please let me know. It's looking like the only way i'll ever get my s2.

you can opt for a mono plug on the anniversary which is what i did on the scooter tribute bass
in my case it made any future repairs easier and i didnt feel the need for it

the only real difference i think is that the 20th anni. electronics have a 4 position pickup switch.front pickup, both, bridge pickup, then a standby. i'm not sure about signature's electronics if they have a mono switch(it boosts power to front pickup only, and a bit of volume increase)20th anni has that as well. though i like to boost the bridge pickup(q switch) to even out sound
