The nicest gig bag I have owned is one made for Pedulla.  They are expensive, but provide better protection than any other I have seen.  I also really like the hook to hang the bass over the back of a door for easy storage.

I received my BodyGlove case on Friday. At first sight I knew I had made the right choice. I love the fact that it has some rigidity to it, but is still very easy to handle. My Elan fits like a glove inside this case. It is perfect. I will have NO problem using this gig bag.
