:-) Thanx all!

The patch is attached through heat, the surface of the strap is leather. https://store.turbify.net/alembic/darknesspatch.html  "heat seal backing can be ironed on" :-)

Some photos from the Axial Tilt show at Great American Music Hall Sunday August 3 "Celebrating 60 Years of the Grateful Dead". Super busy music weekend in San Francisco. Jay Lane came by to play the last set with us but Gabe had left by midnight and didn't get any shots with him. Nice surprise for the audience... here is one to get things rolling. The online gallery has lots of photos many with "Alembic" content. I had a good time talking all things Alembic with John Kadlecik, he told me a lot about working with Ron on the electronics for his Orion guitar build. Our side of the stage was running on Alembic power...

Thanks for sharing.  Really does look spectacular.

Yes, great pictures!

Did not realize (or perhaps just don't remember) that Osborne plays drums.

Gig was exhausting but lots of fun, feel blessed to have the opportunity to play with great musicians in such a beautiful venue. I didn't realize Joan played drums until she sat down and started playing. Doubt that her playing drums was planned, the second kit was set up in case Jay actually made it across the city after his show with DeadCo.

I don't get too many opportunities to play out with my Alembic on our little island home, but a few weeks ago popular Canadian band Yukon Blonde played a show here. I was happy to get the call to hold down the bass chair in the warmup act with my friends in the Rob Butterfield band. Here's me playing at the same time as I try not to bend my knees like an old man. Some of you've already seen this in the Showcase section.

Kind of a cool picture from Saturday with the Who tribute "Who's Who".

Here's a shot of me playing the ebony amazon at our last show.  i love that bass but it's a backbreaker.  i made it through the first set before i had to go to plan B...

that's the other tim playing guit@r.  the guy is an absolute monster of a player.  i think there's 145 years there between the two of us.   kinda makes me wonder what would've happend had we hooked up in our primes.

I've got a boatload of great pics from the Cyberiam's last two gigs from at least 3 pro photographers. Here are a few from our last gig at Stage 119 in Elmhurst, IL. Love it when the venue has a giant video wall. We are synced to video content on every song and carry around three 50'' monitors. If there's a video wall, we skip the middle monitor. And I added a pic of our keyboard wiz Frank Lucas since he's not in the other shots.  :D
