In the quest for intrigue , one can happen on some strange things :o

case in piont , no info, but the construction looks like "MoonStone"  :o

fleur de lys inlays are kinda cool  8)

Yeah, that's interesting. An 8+4 fretless bass doubleneck. Judging by the bridge footprints routed into the top, I'm guessing they must have missed with calculating the neck angles.


There's something stamped into the back of the headstocks but I can't see enough detail to tell what it says. If Kris [elwoodblue] was still hangin' around here, he would get a kick outta' this one.

I was thinking they might be for flush-mounting the bridge, but can't tell in the mounted-hardware pic if that's the case.  I was surprised to see it;'s a string-trough; not a lot of basses are, to my knowledge.
