Hi, just purchased a 1995 Epic. It's probably the best playing bass I've had the opportunity to play. Really happy with a quick test run through a RNDI on the clean sound for recording, looking forward to seeing how it works in a live setting.

Hey congratulations! I had the same experience with the first Alembic I bought. Please share some pictures of your new bass. We love pictures and happy playing!

Great news that you have found your way to an alembic. I look forward to you reporting back to us after you start gigging with it. Out of curiousity, what sort of music do you play and non alembic basses are you using?
Yes we do love pictures here. :-)
The sound of Alembic is medicine for the soul!

Thanks. I currently play a mixture of rock and country, with a background in that plus a bit of funk. Other current basses include various Laklands, Washburn, Ibanez, Dingwall & Yamaha.

Beautiful! such a nice instrument
The bass player's function, along with the drums, is to be the engine that drives the car... everything else is merely colours.

Tim,
Welcome to the camp!  We understand, you now hold in your hands what many people dream of.
That is a lovely specimen.

Enjoy!

Welcome. That's a nice looking bass. I like how the wood changes at the top right of the body on the epics.

Thanks all. I'm really enjoying how well it plays. Youtube of my take on VH Eruption on the Alembic.
