Was at my friend Jerry's house and we got to picture a standard point, balance point and balance K body basses! It's neat to see them in person and how the balance K evolved. BTW, Jerry's new MK sig is SICK! Sounds and plays amazing!

+1 on the balance K MKDeluxe.   exceptionally comfortable to play much more so than my SII or essence.  always a conversation starter when we go out prowling together.
Been down...now i'm out!

Nice group! Always liked the balance K over the old school point/omega large body style.

I honestly thought when I first read the header for your post that you were going to talk about metabolism changing as we age, weight gain, and of course no longer being able to jump around the stage for hours when performing live but instead requiring venues to provide stools so we can sit for some songs. Our current excuse for the stool request is that it allows us to play the slow stuff in a more intimate fashion.

First I gor series 1 from 1980, then I wanted a 5 string, so I got K balance and when it arrived I realised that I prefer older shape over K balance, so luckily I found Anniversary 5 string with Omega cut, that one is just insane.
The bass player's function, along with the drums, is to be the engine that drives the car... everything else is merely colours.
