Thank you for posting this, David. It's Covid. Tomorrow I take my last round for Paxlovid. I'm feeling a bit better, but yeah, I'm gonna need a bunch of rest after this ordeal. I'm trying to keep up on emails as much as I can. Hopefully I'll feel better when I finally get a negative test and can join the world again.

Mark - I always have a frozen chicken carcass ready to spring into action. Homemade soup is an elixir I tells ya!

Sorry to hear that Covid has affected your family. The new variants, of which there are now so many that I havent been able to keep track, are doing a number on a lot of people out here in Minnesota.  Rest, rest, and more rest is the best thing you can do for yourself and hopefully you will test negative sooner rather than later.

My wife and I know at least seven people who all got Covid recently, most of them at the Stern Grove Patty Smith concert 2 weeks ago which was outdoors. We were invited to a party the next weekend that was cancelled because the hosts and their houseguest had Covid. The houseguest had stayed with us two nights after Patty Smith. My wife did not feel well that week but the Covid tests she took for four consecutive days were all negative. Definitely worth staying vigilant about being in crowded spaces... hope Mica and Mary both feel better soon.

We are resting up well - feeling better but you know when you need to rest more? That's where I am now. Mary didn't get Covid, and she's at work today! We're pretty sure it was the Pen Show disease vector, but everyone's getting it now.
