Great to hear. When we left England it was raining and cool. I left my bass in the case when we arrived on Monday afternoon. Just taken it out for a practice and it was marginally sharp in pitch by less than a semitone but the action still feels good and no need to adjust anything. Hope it stays that way as the outside temperature is showing 98 degrees F.

Quick soundcheck in Redmond WA for first gig. Starts 6:30 and we are first on.

Hope you knock it out of the park... enjoy! When you have time let us know what kind of amp you ended up with.

The only bass rigs have been Ampegs with 8x10 cabs.

This is a strange 360 degrees picture from my head mounted GoPro MAX camera.

Appreciate the updates.   Inclined to believe the shows have a fun vibe to them.

They do and a good backstage vibe too. The audiences have been really receptive to all the bands. I hope we get re-allocated to a later slot on some gigs as we have been on first or second on the last 3 gigs.

Looking good Jazzy, but your truss-rods need some serious adjustments!  ;D

jazzyvee

You may think that, however this bass has a custom "Butterfly style" truss rod so i can have different settings above and below the 12th fret. It is so beyond custom, even Mica is not aware of it. 😂😁🧐🎶🤩

Two gigs done in Texas, the barn at the friyo Cypress and Texas Trust in Dallas. The latter is the first inside venue and the sound was much heavier in the room. Lots of good compliments on playing and the sound of the bass.
Humphreys in San Diego next.
We have a guest list for the remaining gigs so let me know via email if you want to attend as that is proving easier than logging into the forum when on the move.  i will see what i can arrange. No promises though and no idea about numbers. 👍🏾

I think your FOH guy may well be my nephew, Scott Weller. I know he's out on a tour that sounds suspiciously like the one you're on.

Just finished soundcheck at the Honda Centre. Alembic sounds mighty heavy.
