Been down...now i'm out!

Highly suspicious. Only item listed, no feedback, price too good to be true.

These days dealing directly with a business or person, when possible, has the best outcome for me. Etsy, Reverb, etc.. buyers are now falling victim to scammers. I had one scammer on Etsy create a fake shipping label showing delivered and received. What a mess.

Quote still isn't working for me and today I received an odd popup about only moderators and myself bein g able to see IP addresses. Now back to the subject.

The price is too good to be true especially since it is listed as being for sale in Japan.

Given it's in Japan, that price is about $4000-$5,000 too low even if it actuallly is a 2011 new-old stock bass. You would think the scammers would at least come up with a reasonable price.

There's another one today ( 1987 Stanley Clarke model ) for $2015. It's the 3rd day in a row that I've seen a different Alembic bass with a ridiculously low price listed on Reverb by someone with no feedback.

"Well that ebay one has disappeared."

As it should! It was a very poor Chinese copy listed for a few hundred bucks.

I don't know if it had anything to do with removing the listing but I took some time the other day and reported it as a poor counterfeit.
