That is a good price!  Too bad it's a small body.

i happe n to own the 5-string fretless walnut top version of this.  it's the only small-body bass i have these days.  the lightest one as well.  makes it kind of a neckdriver but sometimes it's a relief to play something (relatively) light and petite that still feels like her big (really, really big) sisters.

if ya wanna get on the alembic neck-thru bass train this is probably as cheep as yer gonna be able to do it these days it seems.  don't see too much lace wood.  looks like an easy repair.  i'm jsut sayin'

looks like it started out at $2400 (great price) and is now $3500 (not so much, dontcha see?).  I know i've been smoking a lot of pot lately so diD i miss something here?

The mark-up is due to the cost of replacing the battery terminals and installing a new battery.

Even at that price I wouldn't mind owning it until my bass is finished at the Mothership. Not sure when my custom is going to be finished.   
Could still resale at that price when my bass is delivered.
