Here's Carlos with the '75 Series I guitar played on 'Fame' and 'Young Americans' and other David Bowie hits. The guitar sold at auction recently for about $13,000 I think. I believe this pic is from the 'Glass Spiders' era. I have seen pics of the guitar posted here, but I do not recall seeing one with Carlos playing it with Bowie.

Goodness gracious-  I don't care how big a rock star you are.... wearing what appears to be a yellow womans blouse is no way to be caught on camera.

Nice guitar.

Have to agree with you there Toby!

Well then again back then there was some question as to what was Bowies favorite flavor of ice-cream, to put it mildly.

Bowie did know how to pick good players though. If I recall correctly thats SRV you hear on Lets Dance album.

You guys have met 'Ziggy', right? I thought the yellow shirt on the Thin White Duke and the garage band look of the combo was pretty tame.

This character is one of Ziggy Stardust's alter-egos, Halloween Jack.

I'll have trouble sleeping tonight now.

If I recall correctly, that is Peter Frampton on the right.  You are right Olie, good players.

There are some really good shots of Carlos Alomar with his Series 1 and sporting a purple suit. This is also the band iteration that has Adrian Belew.

Tonight I am going to see a Bowie tribute with Adrian Belew, Todd Rundgren, Angelo Moore (Fishbone) and others. Should be a great show!

And it looks like Belew is sportin' a stratoblaster on that there geetar.
