I was telling Rob, my Lil' Darlin' guitar has Skylark controls, and while my pickup config. is a bit different, these electronics are just perfect. Those [OFF-ON-BRITE] switches take a minute for us bass players to acclimate to... I wanted it to act like a Q-switch, and it just isn't. The trick is to turn the switch(es) to brite, then dial the filter in. And of course if needed, tweak the trimpots. I found my sizzle-zone in just a few hours. I played it side-by-side with his old Series I for several months. You could certainly hear the lineage.


That red guitar though... my, my, my... Scarlet Begonias tucked into her curls. Definitely not like other girls.

Hello Sunil, it is at the moment.  A very beautiful guitar, but I find longer scales with wider necks to be more comfortable for me.  With Alembic's sometimes you have to buy and try to see if it fits :)

It's at a slightly higher price on Reverb (a couple hundred bucks) to cover their fees.
