This 85 Distillate has served me well.It is a medium 32"scale,a Bocate top with a satin finish.Mahogany Body with a Maple and Purple heart neck.If you notice the top horn is slightly extended and balances well.It has NO RF ISSUES!!!,Everything works as it should.Alembic installed a drop tuner and I never used it.it has aftermarket LED's which can come off without damaging the instrument.the LED battery pack is located on the back of the head stock.The case outside is in poor condition,the inside is good.I have had many Alembics and I keep coming back to the Distillate.I'm selling this to fund a different Distillate.I would give this Bass a B+ only because of the small nicks on the head stock and on the bottom.It plays beautifully.Any Questions please ask.

It's been ~37 years since I played a Distillate, can you remind me what the electronics package is (i.e., what the knobs & switches do)?  Thanks.

Bob - the knobs and switches allow for a vast array of tonal possibilities.   My Distillate brings great joy... I bet this one would do the same for you.

I sent this picture to the gentleman who just recently bought my '81 Distillate. Except for the Pan function mod mine had done to replace the 4-position pickup selector switch on the lower horn, these are standard Distillate controls. Volume/Filter knobs, switches are for Q, Bass and Treble cut-flat-boost.
