The more I try and think about the headstock, the more I realize I just don't remember the details... I Know I sent the bass into the Mothership in the mid 90's for a squealing noise, which Ron addressed.  I think I asked them to look at and/or repair the place on the back of the neck, but I am struggling to remember the details.  It just was not that much of an issue to me.  I don't remember if they did anything to it to repair it, or if they said it not worth worrying about.  I really can't tell if it is, or was, a separation in the two wood laminates, (if it was, it was only slight)  or if it is/was just in the clear coat finish.  You can feel it, but only slightly.  Again, and I am probably making more out of this than I need to, but I would rather err on the side of someone buying and saying it is nothing... than someone spending this kind of money and saying I did not fully disclose.  Hope that makes sense.  I don't know if Mica has record on the repair in the mid 90's.  If she did I think should would have listed it when she provided the card info on the forum a few years ago, which only mentioned the update in 99.  Not trying to scare you away from buying it.  (Or, subconsciously, is that exactly what I am doing?!😁).   Thanks!  Allen
