Is that strat jack original?

I'm not seeing any pics and the links don't open.

It's a California Special and the jackplate would be original. These came with Schaller or Floyd Rose trems.

The pictures show as regular photos in the post for me, on an Android phone.

No pictures visible to me either and the file that downloaded when I clicked on it doesn't display either.

As Adriaan commented, the pics show as regular photos on the site when using Chrome.

Pics are showing for me on safari.

I wish this had a chrome bird stop and bridge instead of the tremolo. I wonder how hard it would be to modify one. Has anyone ever heard of someone doing that? Mica, what do you think?

Nada on Safari/iPad for me.

It's a nice guitar.  I bet it sounds great.  And personally, I like the sound of trem bars.

Jack is likely original.  We can change out the trem to a fixed bridge and stop, but it won't look like it was there originally without a total refinish and an opaque paint job, seems like a lot of expense to me! I'd start with a new build, but then again I sell guitars for a living :)

And i thought you sold dreams, and made them look like guitars. 🤫😂
The sound of Alembic is medicine for the soul!

I don't know if it's the same one, but this looks like Steve Millers' green California Special that was on consignment years ago, pre-pandemic, at Guitar Showcase in San Jose.

Neck looks like a combination of maple and something else in the center. Interesting. I haven't seen many California Specials... maybe this was a standard feature?
