From what I've heard elsewhere, DigiTech had previously been acquired by Samsung, who apparently disbanded DigiTech's development team a couple years ago.

Digitech was a Harman company (JBL, Soundcraft, Martin Lights, etc. etc.). Harman was acquired by Samsung in 2017. I still use my Digitech Bass Synth Wah as an envelope filter. Has a decent octave down setting, as well as weird synth effects too. Too bad about the team.
