After attempting to bond with my Europa 6-string for some time now I have come to the conclusion that, given my hand size, we are just not a match made in heaven.  My recent receipt of the shopnight Series I scroll bass on which the mothership did an electronics upgrade sealed the deal. I am therefore putting said Europa up for sale.  Here are the basics:


D.O.B.: 1993
Scale: Long (34)
Neck Recipe: Maple with 5 purpleheart stingers
Neck Width at Nut - 2.5"; 12th fret - 3.0"' 24th fret - 3/5"
String Spacing (center to center): 7/16
Body: Mahogany with Maple top
Condition: Excellent (other than 3 small dings on the neck that have not penetrated the finish)
Case: New G & G


At this time I see there are three Europa's up for sale on Reverb: A 1991 Maple 5-string for $8,750; a 1993 Koa 4-string for $7,999; and a 1991 black maple for $5,500.


Even when accounting for a natural rise in costs over time, I believe that all of these prices are outrageous and want anyone who is interested to know that I am only looking for a fair price not to gouge people.

Going to list on Reverb shortly if no one here is interested. $3,500 and that includes a new G & G case I bought for it. At that price I'll break even and that is all I'm looking to do.

Hello, where is this bass located at ?

This bass was sold several years ago to a Club Member. He's an active member, so if he is interested in selling, I'm sure he see this and get in touch with you.

Just saw that Dan who I think lives in Arkansas has it up for sale and at the same price I sold it to him for a number of years ago. See his posting.  When I sold the bass to Dan it was in excellent condition other than a couple of small dings on the neck that were even difficult to see in the photos I took.
