Rise thread, rise from the ashes!!!

Next May (2019) it'll be 10 years since I jammed with some of you at Bag end.

I'd like to be 10 years older and do that again with you all, it was one of the best and most fun jams for me!

Anyway, just mentioning it as I have in the past.  Hope everyone is well!!!

That was a good time, indeed!  Has it really been that long?

I`m in...... now Location, Location, Location? Tomhug is in the area (does the Wooden Nickel jam).
2023 Mark King 5 String, Buckeye Burl via Will Gunn Guitars. With added 5-pin jack
2011 Series Custom Sans Filter 4 String: Coco Bolo
1989 Elan 6 String: Bubinga
1981 Distillate: Purpleheart Top

Well I would do my best to be there with my beautiful Distillate. I also have a friend with a very unique Rogue 5 string, 36'' scale and omega cut. And another friend's bass player owns an incredible 5 string called "She". It's here in the monthly features.

Memories....  great people, beautiful instruments, just not enough hours to jam, talk and hang.  Oh and the  4 x 21 audio massager!  :-D

Do to unforeseen circumstances (read: life) I still have a residence in Milwaukee and sadly have been spending more time there.... the drive to Bag End should be doable.

My Bass player acquired a Bassault (but in 4 separate powered cabs) because of the Bag-End gathering.   Maybe I can talk him into bringing it!

Still hoping we can get back together again in Chicago or somewhere in the Midwest.  Maybe fate will allow... 🖖🏻

Bumping this because of Jonathan's post that made me realize it has been a long time gone...

Just saying...it's been 10 years.  I know through channels that Jim at Bag End would be happy to host again.

Miss you all!  Can't believe it's been that long.

My lanyard is hanging on my bedroom door, I see it every day. It's with my 2017 Iowa Rock & Roll Hall of Fame lanyard. I'm still playing at 67 and would be there in a heartbeat!

I don't yet understand exactly what this is, but I'll hop in the car and make a drive to it.

The wife and I will be in the Fox Valley the first full week of October though we arrive on a Sunday and leave the following Saturday.
