Entrance to the chapel at the late, lamented Camp Tomo Chi Chi Knolls.

I had to goggle Camp Tomo Chi Chi Knolls.... It looks like an awesome escape into nature.   You are inferring a past tense.  Is it no longer there?

Paul. (who has been leaning into nature more often these days, even when surrounded by concrete and steel, she is still there)

Even the Boy Scout council that owned it is no longer there; the camp was sold years ago.  I haven't been by there since, but I imagine it's an infestation of McMansions by now.

OK, my curiosity piqued, I also Googled it - and was thrilled to find that they didn't sell it to a developer after all - it is now part of the Kane County Forest Preserve District!

Most excellent; having recharged my soul there many a time, I am ecstatic that it is still there for that purpose!

The first picture is another one from the soybean field in Franklin County. It was a nice day. The other picture is a tower crane that's been erected to build a new wing onto the Hospital next door to my Water Plant here in Roanoke. The guy climbs up to that gondola every morning. Y'all reckon he's gotta' portajohn up there?

Decades ago I came to the conclusion that you couldn't have a hospital license if you didn't have construction going on.

And, as Emeril Lagasse once said in re a nut common in the US south:  "That's a paKHAN; a pee-can is something a truckdriver has."

Peter (who himself kept a McBunghole's movie-tie-in large plastic cup in the cab; sat perfectly inside the roll of duct tape)

Nice shot of the clouds above the soybean field.

A mourning rose dost charms beholders, all.
One last day, of beauty and  gaze praise, saved.
Moment to moment, soon petals shalt fall
Beyond all hope, as the wind taketh toll.
And the Universe shalt strike, the long bell 🖤

Wolf doesn't say much, but when he does it really sticks. Nice rose, and prose.  ;)

Thanks Greg !
Those words are part of my lyric writing avalanche that has ensued during this pandemic .

Richard...

I should know better than to name him.  We met several months ago.  Albinos are 'technically' protected... but people are stupid.

Edgar... who was ironically named Richard when he rescued him.
A panoramic view looking east from the ridge on Irma Hill.
And a 'static' shot looking east.
