been pretty quiet around here lately - just saw this pop up on reverb.  Put some rotosound roundwounds on one of these maple bodied dreadnoughts for that tear-your-face-off tone if you can handle the weight and body size.  i sometimes regret selling mine but my shoulders and back are still saying "fare-thee-well, sweetie!".  These almost qualify as a pointy bass imho.   Nice top, a little beat up but reasonably priced, probably won't last long.  imho, ymmv, etc. & so forth

Not sure if a cheer is in order yet, let's see first if this shows up on Reverb again at a new "recently flipped" price point.

Same flipper in Colorado... very few good deals available for players anymore unless you can find a bass through a private seller who does not list on Reverb, Craigslist or eBay.

well as a man who is on the hunt, i can tell ya that if yer in the market ya gotta have cash in hand, a hair trigger finger and not be afraid to push the button when a deal like this comes up.

had i been in the market for an elan, it would've been a no-brainer at that price and I'd be eagerly watching the tracking number right sbout now.

so - snooze ya lose, he who hesitates is lost yadda yadda etc & so forth.  i hate to see this ( or any bass) go to a flipper but he jumped first after all.. we can all enjoy watching the listing gather virtual dust for months to come at yhat price.
