Yesterday we got our second dose (Moderna); so far, just minor stiff necks.

Today is two weeks since my second shot (Pfizer) so I should now be immune.  Senior management (who is five tears less senior) got her first yesterday.   She woke up with a sore arm.

I finally got my first dose of Moderna on Tuesday. I managed to snag same time appointments for my younger daughter and me so we drove over to UNC together while the wife watched the granddaughter. I had a sore arm at the injection site most of the day yesterday but that isn't really any different than what I've had with other vaccinations. We go back in early May for number two. My wife received the Pfizer through work and the second shot made her not feeling well the next day but was fine after sleeping it off.

My wife teaches in Berkeley at a small independent school and they were very proactive about monitoring vaccine availability in the area since they wanted to safely reopen the campus. I qualified first because of my age, my wife got in a week later since she teaches in Berkeley. We both got our second Pfizer shots the first week of March. By the time I went to bed I started feeling stiff and sore and ended up with five of the 8 side effects the next day. Felt like I had been hit by a truck, fatigue, chills but no fever, stiff and sore all day. I spent the day sleeping and felt better by day 2. My wife was fatigued but nowhere near as sick as I felt. Her school also requires regular testing, we have been tested every two weeks since late December and will continue to get tested until the end of the school year.

Even though we are fully vaccinated we still feel reluctant to gather with a group of people we don't know. Going to take some time to reintegrate but at least we are starting to crawl out of the tunnel. Hope everyone that wants to get vaccinated can get their shots ASAP. Meanwhile, stay safe!

Felt fatigued... couldn't play through a 4:30 song without having to rest my arms!!!
Feel good today, arm is sore. 

I could use a nap.... but that is the norm these days.

Got my 2nd a week ago with zero side effects and am glad for that. I also think it might be important to totally relax your arm when getting jabbed.

I felt a little off the day after each shot but, aside from a sore arm for a couple of days each time, that was it for side effects.   Still wearing the mask.   The shot itself was surprisingly pain free.  The needle looks very long, but it is also extremely thin.

Yeah - the first dose, I didn't feel the shot at all (despite all the news footage that made it look like the needle was going in the left arm to place the vaccine in the right arm.....), and the injection site was a tad sore the next day.  Yesterday I felt the poke, and then it burned for a few seconds during and just after the actual injecting.
As I mentioned above, today we have minor stiff necks, and now we're both tired.  Let's hear it for retirement; we can nap anytime!

Had my second Pfizer vaccination eleven days ago, so Monday will end the two week waiting period for me.

The reports from Brazil that I read in the news have not been good.

finally got mine yesterday after much jacking around by my healthcare provider. been lucky so far but i was getting tired of feeling like i'm playing russian roulette every time i went out amongst the unwashed masses.
not gonna change my lifestyle much - still gonna wear a mask in public and otherwise hunker down in my hidey-hole with my demons and basses till this blows over.
i'm finding i'm not much of a people person anymore ever since this started. maybe that'll blow over someday as well 🏴‍☠️

I understand those sentiments and abide by them myself.   

I do like to be around other "like minded" people while retaining physical distance, but the general population - not so much.

Got our first Moderna shot here on Galiano Island today. Feels like the beginning of the end of a long road back to community.
