Playmeadow = Park? Recreational Area?

(these things interest me...)
I was lazy, so I transliterated an old Dutch word for a playground. But you got the drift.

I actually Googled it... couldn't find an answer.

We grew up across a "Play Swamp" literally.
Tamarack Swamp... growing up next door to a wetlands offered many great adventures.  ;D

They have since bisected it with a road, decreased it's area by squeezing homes and paved trails around its borders... but the memories live on!

Following up on yesterday's tree-infested imagery, today I ran into a Sequioa in a pinetum close to Drakensteyn (former queen Beatrix' residence).

My new yard sign arrived Friday!  It just now needs to rust a little more to match the older one.   ;D

This is Peanut.   He "knocks" on the door when he's hungry.  Here's what we see when we open the door.

Once had a squirrel try to tear a hole in the screen door to get in the kitchen.  Had tell him that wasn't a good idea.

I see the skies of blue, but where are the clouds of white? ;)

Looks like you all had a nice day down there, Dave.

An image of beauty ! 8)
I have some very close shots of a mated pair of Ravens that I have gained the trust of . I shall post them as well . ( after I reduce the size of the image )
Ravens and Crows usually mate for life . I am not as knowledgeable regarding Eagles .

These two Ravens were graciously willing to come very close to me and trust me for a pose . They reminded me of " Huginn and Muninn " from Old Norse Mythology . Respectively they represent "Thought and Memory ".They make a commitment for life !  They are my friends !

Lovely. We have many ravens here in the Pacific Northwest. I feel like they have a lot to teach me.
