Superb looking bass.

Really nice bass. Looking at the control pattern, I wonder if the electronics might be Elan Plus, and if it would be a single preamp or two.

i have an 89 elan 4 with that electronics package and i guess it is just before the europa came out. i don't know about the two preamps tho. How can you tell?

now, that's a pretty bass!

The number of adjustable trimpots in the electronics cavity should correspond to the number of preamps.

Elan Plus does have 2 preamps.

Whoever put the strings on that bass REALLY went overboard with the wraps around the tuning pegs!

Seems like a great price for a really nice looking bass.
