When I saw the thumbnail, I kind of laughed and thought it was some import that somebody is trying to pass off as an Alembic. Then I went to the ad and saw that it's the real thing. Like an Alembic Super Strat! https://www.ebay.com/itm/143797966569?ul_noapp=true

Fascinated, just because I'm on a guitar binge right now. Clearly a Custom something.

A single HB in the bridge position and (just guessing) a switchable Blaster circuit? Kinda' like the Bodega 'Hole-in-the-Head' bass had. No idea.  :o  But I like it!  :D

$16K might seem a little ambitious, don'tcha think?  But it does come with a "soft shell original case"!

the whole being more than the sum of the parts, so it seems.  good luck with that

I don't recognize this guitar at all, even as a shop nighter. It's got a glue-on neck like a Gibson style, which is not something we've done. Truss rod cover not recessed. But somehow someone found a logo for it - however, I'm not convinced it's an Alembic. Maybe the seller will produce a serial number we can verify?

Looks a lot like one of these- https://reverb.com/p/aria-pro-ii-cs-400-sunburst

Some rather skillful woodsmith could have made a project and 'doctored' on it. Good work, but not cool to put a logo on there. I might be fulla' shuga' too. The neck joint Mica pointed out, and the little notch in the headstock clued me. I'd seen that before on an Aria Pro bass.

It has the correct style knob, an Alembic p/up, and a logo; nothing else about this says "Alembic" to me at all.
