1. There is a tiny poti (blue square box) which belongs to the tone control. What is it for?
2. My second bass is a Fender Precision. The Alembic is far louder. When play both basses on one amp I always have to turn the amp down/up so both basses are equally loud. Is there the possibility in the electronic to make the Alembic less loud?

Well, the blue trimpot allows you to set the output level of the preamp, so the answer to your second question is the answer to your first question.
