Having had the serial/history update from Mica, I can now confirm that every single statement above made by the guitar shop was false, lol!

I might not be here today, if it weren't for a liar. He didn't know it, but I got the much better end of the deal. Took me a while to figure it out, but he cheated me into a lifetime of playing much better instruments than I deserve. Made a few friends in California too.

Yep, its a lovely playing bass. Just need some gigs to use it in anger!!!! Thanks
