Another example of Alembic trademark infringement

Despite the cosmetic differences this is certainly a blatant "appropriation" of the Alembic brand name and specific product name. Guy who built it has his name on the back.

Don't understand why people do that or Reverb doesn't flag it and take it down.

The seller is in Croatia, so maybe we should cut them some slack.   I sent a message to the seller that the unit was not an Alembic.  Let's see what happens.

So lame. It's a nice looking package, that should have its own name--however derivative of Alembic's design. Seriously, putting the Alembic name on the back -and- front? He should have put Alembic on the top and sides, too.

It's little things like this that help restore my faith in humanity.  I received the following message through reverb from the seller:

"The product is absolutely removed.
The product was made by a friend
I just want to help him sell.
YES. He was not allowed to use someone else's brend logo."

Nice to get a reasonable and responsible, response. I looked up the company whose name was on the unit, they currently make pickups and basses. Didn't see any preamps or mention of them.
