Watching hulu when this came on. Tasteless ad, but good taste in guitars.

I've noticed this guitar in the ads numerous times, though I can never remember what the spot is advertising!  I'm not so sure it is a Phiga.  All the Cripe style guitars (and given the shape of the lower bout, this looks more like Cripe's Bolt than an Irwin) as well as the Irwin style instruments I've seen from Phil's shop have either banjo inlays (like Garcia) or Phil's trademark crop circles.  My original thought was a Phred, but those appear to also sport the banjo inlays.

Upper bout looks more Cripe than Irwin, too.

Watch the actual commercial. Absolutely a Phiga. That's his take on the Cripe headstock as well as his own TR cover. If you go to his website, plenty of his Bolt copies have dot inlays.

Ha! Me too. I'll see it at night, and never remember to post it here, so thanks mavnet!

Folks in the Deadhead musician world (maybe RUKind.com?) have identified the player and his guitar. Sure glad I don't have that kind of bowel trouble.
