Looks like it might have been modeled on that one but different in the details...

I'm wondering if this is Phil Anderson (aka Andertone)'s bass. I know he has an old Starfire with a number of modifications.

Very interesting! I wonder how many Alembicized Starfires are out there (even though this one appears to have no Alembic pieces in it).
