Ed, I use the custom quote generator to get an idea of the current price for my existing basses for submitting to my insurance company when the renewal invitation arrives. When I get a new bass  i obtain from Alembic a replacement cost for the bass. When the prices go up i send the current cost based on what i can determine from the quote generator. 🤑🤑🤑👍🏿

I like playing with the CQG, but it's dangerous... puts thoughts in your head. Luckily for me, it won't do a custom Brown Bass. 

True but you could spec out a signature deluxe with Anniversary Electronics and get a pretty good idea of the cost.

Yep, done that. Like I said - dangerous. What I have in mind goes well beyond that, but it's still fun to see.
