*FWIW, I have an email draft saved for Will Gunn Guitars, to be sent on the day I put in my retirement notice. That day, unfortunately, was not by or before today. 

I think about customs quite a but but if I was in the ballpark of affording a custom bass I'd want to rectify something that is missing in the sound I can get with my collection and my rig. However that proves hard to do when you have a series I and II bass, F1-x and an SF-2 at your disposal that will probably give you a way to get any bass sound you want. And buying a custom for non sonic reasons would not be my idea of my money well spent. I have a few discussions on-line with Will Gunn when I start to have the desire to think again.
