Neat idea and would create a nice ambience in a small space. It also reminded me of these which are made here in the UK.

Let us know if you get one; wondering how close to the real thing it looks.

Also wondering how one might look on a pedalboard.  :)

I'm guessing that on some of those listed by the seller there might be a few trademark violations.  Thinking I might prefer one without trademarks.

Cute idea. I don't know why they would say Peavey Soldano in the ad. Any of the 12AX7 or AT7 etc should work, as I think the tube heaters draw the same power. If you use a Brit tube, they might flare up when first plugged in.

I don't think the tube is active at all, it's just an LED that lights it up.

As I remember, my devout grandmother had a Holy Cross tube-like thingy that lit up like a bulb, with the same reddish glow.

You are right! A real tube heater is at the top

those night lights are cool...the nixie tube stuff is too; one day I'll get a clock. too bad I can't spare any outlets in my place for a night light (seriously, I live in an old house that has 2 outlets per room...no way they'd have that in a new house!)
