Those are beautiful pics.  Congrats to all on having it "like you like it!"  I would post one from my front door, but you would only see our neighbors house.  I'll wait until spring when the azaleas are in bloom.  😊

Spent five days over in Tennessee for New Year's.

Looks nice, I hope you had fun in Tennessee. Tennessee whiskey comes to mind, heehee :D

David Houck

We had ice overnight.  Here's a picture from this morning ..

Nice picture.  :)

We got about 3-4" of mixed precip up here Dave... now that it seems to have quit falling, the snow has a crust!  ;D

cozmik_cowboy

Beautiful pic, Dave!
We got about 2-3" of snow yesterday; flakes so small it took it about 14 hours to get down.  14 hours, i might add, which I spent waiting for it to stop so I could fire up the snow-blower, and not at all missing the thousands of days on which I was professionally obligated to drive that kind of weather........

beautiful picture of the ice, Dave!

we had a rainy saturday here in southern california- mostly blue skies today, but rain expected Mon- thur here.  I suspect the burn areas will undoubtedly have some mudslides.

Wish we had the snow here in Minnesota that you have down south.  Lot's of brown (and cold too by the end of the week) but no snow on the ground and none in sight.  The Nordic Ski team I coach began its season in mid-November and we haven't really been able to ski on anything other than the man-made stuff so far.  The snowmobile and groomer sit on the course with nothing to do.  I'd attach a photo of what it looks like here but its too depressing.

David Houck

This morning we're in the clouds.

The ice photo is beautiful, David, must have been neat to hear the cracking in the wind.  :)

Well, I don't have anything recent for this, so I'm going to cheat & post a shot from my backyard a few years back.  I think the shape of the drift is amazing (and, for size reference, note the top of the chair & the grill.

Brian, being a cheesehead myself I understand your pain.

Truth be told I have had a bit of a life change and my experience with the white stuff these days is only when removing it from the driveway...  so I am not gonna complain about winter this year.

Dave, I envy that you live in a place where a forest bath is but a short walk out your door.

Grey, chilly days in Masons Cove, Virginia. I've put a lotta' miles on my walkin' shoes around this little valley lately, the northern face of Fort Lewis Mountain being the subject of many pictures from different angles.

Nice pics Gregory.

I hear the mountains calling me...

Br-r-r!  All that fresh air'll kill you!  (Just kidding...)
I used to think I was indecisive, but now I'm not so sure.
