That's such a pretty bass. The Bubinga in it looks a lot like the boards they used for my '85 fretless Distillate.

I guess (?) at least some of the price here reflects the incidental fees associated with getting a CITES-affected bass through the process.  As I understand it, Bubinga qualifies now.
