Nice looking guitar but how can it be both pre-owned and new?

I was wondering that too.  The serial number appears to start with 0 (made in the 2000s?) and the bridge is not as shiny as would be expected for a new instrument. More photos would be nice as well.  Nice guitar though, with some simple but effective controls.
