Had lunch with my Mom today.


The older I get, the more I realize how dad-gum tough she is. We were talking about a pending surgery I've got coming, that's got me about scared to death, and she's like- "Yeah, that back surgery is tough... but it wasn't near as bad as when they fixed my knee."

I also realize, I didn't really get away with anything. Ever.
