Interesting how fungus can make things (Nature in particular) soooo  beautiful.  I think it allows us to tap into our child-mind and really see things as they are in the present with presence.

The human condition seems (for me) to put the brain on overload - themes, thoughts, what if's, should do's, should have done's, it would be better if's... and we then miss what is Right Now.

Nick, I had a great view from my front yard!!!

In NW Colorado we had 94% coverage of the sun.  I was surprised how bright it still was with only 6% of the sun light.  Still it was very cool.  One thing that was VERY cool was the shadows of the trees.  Google link "eclipse shadows trees" for some good pictures.

My hometown in TX is just about dead center for the path of the eclipse in 2024 .  I have a lot of friends there and hope I can make the trip to see a total eclipse.

My uncle Bob went up to visit his sister in Oregon during the eclipse, and among the images he captured, this beauty is amazing with solar prominences.

This is the best picture of the 2017 eclipse I have seen so far. Terrific photography. Amazing color exposure.
