A few nights ago I sat down to practice, not intending to work on songs, just chord movement and improvisation; but this song just wrote itself.  I decided I should go ahead and record it so that I wouldn't forget it (something that tends to happen a lot).  After practicing it a bit, and a few attempts at recording, I got something that I thought was worth sharing with you.  Like everything else I've shared, it's rough; but I think you'll get the intention.

I still can't play any of my songs well enough to put on a CD; but if not in this lifetime, maybe the next.

Wow, very nice, Dave!  If you know a drummer you should have them add a drum track, and maybe some nice slide guitar fills to accompany the melody.  At least that's what ran through my head while listening.  The clarity of your bass is nice too.  Cool stuff!

Today I made it through to the end of a tune while the record button was engaged (that doesn't happen often).  I've listened to it a few times, and decided that it was worth sharing with you all.  This is a tune that I shared a couple years ago; but the tone and effects have changed.
