Hello everyone

I bought this and posted about it what, six or eight months ago?
Anyway, I am looking to sell and figured this would be an appropriate place before I tried Reverb or eBay or whatever.
It's one of those strange Japanese-made Alembics (kind of an oxymoron, I know).
Come with original case. I'll take more pictures and give as in-depth a description as I can, if anyone is seriously interested.
I'm asking $2k plus actual shipping with your choice of carrier.

Best way to reach me is by email:
varitone at me dot com

Thanks
Steve

That first one looks good... if there are others, just resize them to something less than 500 KB and they should post fine.  ;)

Cool bass!   8)  Don't see many of those around.

I've seen those basses on the net but not any with the tuner pegs.
The sound of Alembic is medicine for the soul!

Japanese licensed Alembics. They have the electronics and logo, but were built and assembled in Japan. I understand there were only about 50 made.

I hate to sell - the body shape is killer and light.

Originally, the pegged had some kind of string holder and the bridge had tuners. The bridge still does - it's fully functional, but somewhere before it came to me, someone put in tuners on the headstock, too. So yeah, each string has two tuners. Odd. I'd look for original parts to replace 'em, but I'm guessing that's gonna be a tough find - if not outright impossible.

I'll post it on eBay in a  week or so. Let me know if you're interested.

Thanks
Steve

No nibbles on Reverb. This will be moved to eBay in the next couple of days.

Wish me luck.

Steve, what are the controls on these?   (haven't seen them here often enough to ask anyone)
