Is this the highest price ever listed for an alembic instrument!
I have a 1980 series I so really, I should be able to sell mine for a few dollars more than that and retire nicely!!!  ;D ;) ;D :o ::)

Million Dollar Alembic

If that is worth a million can you imagine what #12 is worth.

I can see a business opportunity here if only I can persuade Mica to make me some NOS vintage looking alembics with realistic fake serial numbers although somehow I think that would be much harder than trying to raise the $1m to buy this one with a loan from an unemployed Yorkshire coal miner.  :-)

I hope it's just commas in the wrong place in the sale price. :-)
The sound of Alembic is medicine for the soul!

This gentleman has listings on Reverb, Ebay, and his own site referenced above. He mostly asks a lot initially for his guitars, but it has been mentioned on another thread that he is easy to work with on price. Offer him $750,000, and I bet $1,000,000 he takes it. Everybody wins  :)

Just be sure THEY pay the shipping insurance . . . . . .

Or you could make do with this one in my neighbourhood, for the unprincely sum of $6500 Canadian!
