Yes....it is how I remember it. Excellent bass, it was. I traded it for a Ritter Bass years ago @ The Low End Bass Shop. You can see it on their website under the Sold Gallery. I regret making that trade as the Ritter was an disappointment of sorts. But, I still own a 1981 Series II....
