I love the glow of the BIG Mcintosh amps, To me, there is a sense of the stillness of the moment... I feel like they are playing a ballad. I always think of "Sing me back home" or "Brokedown Palace" when I see this pic. The weight of history.

Bob, Jerry, and Phil all got Nudie suits around the same time (ca. '72). All of them were very cool.

ALL Nudie suits are cool!  But my fav is Gram Parsons's:

Love the Nudie suit look. We just stayed in room 8 at the Joshua Tree Inn where Gram died. A very moving experience. The night we stayed, the perseid meteor shower peaked which we watched from a huge rock next to where Gram was cremated. Truly cosmic American music!
