I wonder how that second one sounds???? It looks like a 3.4 scale.

As to how it sounds, it may depend on what you are burning.

I've heard one of these before.  It smokes!

that smoking one caught me...............

That last one says 'exact replica'. Of what I wonder??
One interesting point though. I put one of those Schaller bridges on my precision years ago and it makes a heck of an improvement over the original.

I'm going to Amsterdam next week (one advantage of being in Europe Graeme!) so I'll try and listen out for one of those 3.4 thingies.  My bet is they probably hiss!!

Grateful,

If you'll pardon my intrusion - just remember that getting high can be a pleasurable experience, like a moderate intake of alcohol, except that the cannabis you buy here over the counter is a lot stronger than the stuff you can illegally procure elsewhere. Anyway, do not light up if you're planning to do anything for which you wouldn't want to be under the influence of alcohol either. In both cases, the stimulant may enhance the experience, but it also numbs the senses.

And it smells awful.

grateful

Adriaan,

Thanks for the warning but I didn't say I was going to audition one of these things!!

Ago,

Dare I ask what sensory experiences you are hoping to explore whilst in the Venice of the North?

grateful

Adriaan,

You have dared to ask, the question is, dare I answer?  I just love the gezellig experience.  Sorry my dutch is so poor but you guys speak English so well it kills the incentive!

Sometimes I get the feeling gezellig is a kind of extra-sensory perception that is part of the Dutch genome - it's really far off the trodden paths for most foreigners, but it sounds like you've come close.

grateful

Thanks Adriaan, I take that as a real compliment  from a native Netherlander.  It's something to do with your live and let live attitude I think.

Greetings,
I'm new to the Alembic scene although admired Alembic guitars for many years, now looking to buy one. How rare/desireable is this guitar on ebay?
