John Kerry - bass player

I just learned this morning that Sen. John Kerry was a garage band bass player in the early '60s. I tried to copy the photo but couldn't. Pesky copyright laws! Anyway here's a link to it for any interested. http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A4009-2004Feb1.html

This is in no way either pro or anti John Kerry. It's just a point of interest.

Paul - sadly his party symbol is a donkey. I think it originally meant stubborness, but lately it can be applied to other less savory human attributes...

Not to mention what that P-bass is worth now, if he still has it.

Joe, you missed a woman in there!

He married a woman worth $200 million, but that wasn't enough so he left her to marry Heinz, worth about $500 million. An interesting note, his wife was not whole heartedly behind him when he first started running for pres. What's that tell you?

What does that tell me? You can fool a hell of a lot of people most of the time, but you have to give up playing bass or they'll find out.

Anyway, as long as George W. does not get re-elected I'm not complaining. Then again I'm not American.
