Bill - I wasn't implying offense at all! Just saying that we (Club members) should not be surprised if Alembic (the Company) leaves things on the Site as they are. It's obviously working for them!

Thanks for the bass-guitar/guitar-bass clairification.  I knew someone around here
would be able to better express my bass playing ability (or lack there of).
 
I think Bass Northwest's website is very cool.  The choices of beautiful instruments that Alembic
produces is indeed staggering.
 
Alembic's website and this club (along with a very old memory of playing a friend's Alembic) is what brought me around to my first (hopefully not last) Alembic purchase.  I agree that the more Alembics shown, the more people will be stricken by the affliction that we all share.  One common thread appears to be a search for quality at least in our musical expression, if not (and I suspect more than likely) in our daily lives.
 
This being the case, I doubt that Alembic's quality will ever be subject to question.  I'm sure that if more folks want what we have, they're going to have to get used to waiting for it.  There aren't too many lessons in patience in todays get it all now society. However the lesson is out there to be learned.  Quality is worth the wait.  (man.....this soap box is giving me a nose bleed!)  
 
Hanging around this website continues to inspire, and to challange my musical sensibilities. Slowly slowwwwwwly, I'm learning.......end of sermon.

EffClef:  Sorry if I overexplained myself.  I won't be a bit surprised, nor offended. I would only be concerned about sounding overbearing (which my wife accuses me of regularly!).  I do marketing for a living and am sort of used to being listened to when the listener agrees that my suggestion meets their need - not mine.  'Nuf said.  Thanks for writing back.
