Bob, I saw the lucky recipient on a PBS Newport Jazz show playing solo upright . . . . it was just as terrifying as his usual MO.

So what's the deal, Alembic peoples?  Did Stanley's eyes pop out of his head or what?  Did you get the bass to him before the gig, and did he play it?   Are we going to get a full photo essay?

Pix and a write-up would be nice. Like Mica really needs another job to do, LOL!
