I bought an Ergo EUB (www.ergoinstruments.com), this is my first attempt to play an instrument like this, so i though the transfer from my electric playing to this it would going to be easier.

I ask Jesse Blue (who is a really cool guy) and he told me that the strings are similar to the helicores, but this are chinesse or something like that (sorry but i dont remember very well) , but i feel the tension really hard, i try one of the NS EUB at a music store, and they play like butter, so i was wondering in buying a solo set, that you have to tune a whole step higher (F #, B, E, A), and tune that to normal tunning, so that the strings be a little easier on my fingers; does anybody did that ?

Also i got a violin bow for 15 usd, and it works for me now.

 Thanks.
