My luthier, Gary Brawer of San Francisco, has one of the first Plek machines.  I have several guitars that were set up on it.  They all play wonderfully.  Gary gave me a tour of the machine.  Very cool.  Kind of like the vertical table Old Doc Frankenstien had his monster strapped to, but for guitars.   As I understand, they are not cheap.

FWIW, a friend of mine had his (extremely nice) Les Paul plekked and swears by it.
