Yes, both necks are maple / purpleheart. The top bass is a '78 refinished about two years ago, while the bottom one is a '77 refinished sometime in 2000 or 2001. You cought me off guard with the top woods, I'd have to look that up. The bottom one is Koa. Manfred, the previous owner put it up on showcase, you can actually see more photos of it here:

Those photos were taken in 2002 and the neck was not yellow at all then. It is more obvious there that the neck is maple.

Bill; this list became inaccurate quite a ways back up the thread, and has become increasingly so ever since.  And Bill; I like Alembic guitars, and the people that play them!
